The JFHML is a one-stop multi-generational community hub; a place to connect with others. Preschool Story Hour is held each Wednesday year-round except for August.  The annual Summer Reading Program is held during Thursdays in July for students in grades K-6. Tax Help is offered FREE for Seniors February-April.  Other events and activities can be found on the library website www.hallettlibrary.org.  The Library houses 43,000 volumes, 108 periodicals and 8 local and national newspapers. The library provides 2600 e-book titles. The JFHML Friends Foundation operates an on-site used bookstore, BACKSTREET BOOKS, which sells like-new  book titles, repurposed book art and greeting cards by area artists.
